A technique of interaction where the opinions of several stakeholders are sought before a decision is made.
1. a house call by a *general practitioner made at the request of a patient or the patient’s carer. It is commonly referred to as a home visit. 2. (in Britain) an arrangement in the *National Health Service whereby a hospital specialist, at the request of a general practitioner, visits to advise on the diagnosis or treatment of a patient who, on medical grounds, is unable to attend hospital.
